Peter Coen graduated in Management Sciences at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and became a lecturer in marketing research and international business. He founded The European Business School in London with partners in Paris and Frankfurt. Initially based at The City University, he established EBS in Regent’s Park as a founding institute of Regent’s College which later became Regent’s University. He lived and worked in Brussels and Rome and joined the United Nations where he initiated a UN-wide project to create a fresh blueprint for management development and cultural change. Increasingly convinced that there was a need for fundamental change, he established The Delphi Project to explore fresh thinking and new approaches to individual and organisational growth. He is married with three children.
1. Not to see.
2. To see that we are ‘in it’.
3. To see the difficulty of moving out of it, out of the orbit of our life.
4. To see that we can move.
5. To see that when we move we revert to the same state or condition.
6. To see that we can revert to the same state or condition at a higher level of being.
7. To see that we can leave certain recurrent states or conditions behind and attain a higher degree of freedom.
8. To see that if we revert to an earlier or lower condition we are not stuck irredeemably in it: we can get out of it more quickly, we know what to do, and we can leave it behind forever.
9. To see that we must always be watchful of our inner status and sustain and restore our true level of being no matter how life tests us.
10. To see that we can always aspire to a higher status, for life is alive and fresh every moment and the fullness of life is to be alive in the moment and to acknowledge every moment of change and growth.
11. To see that beyond the Grid is truly beautiful and vast and that the contemplative and the active expressions of positivity are true and lovely.
12. To realize that all this is available to the ordinary man like you and me at our current stage of evolution and in our current condition, no matter where we start from in the Grid.
